Huawei Y9a is officially announced in September 2020.

The device has a dimension of 163.5 x 76.5 x 9 mm and weighs 197 grams. The screen type is an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. The size of the screen is 6.63 inches and 1080 x 2400 pixels providing a density of 397 PPI.

The Huawei Y9a consists of 8 GB RAM with 128 GB internal storage. The sound section includes Loudspeaker and 3.5mm jack along with 5.1 Bluetooth. The smartphone comes with a quad-camera that consists of 64 MP (wide) + 8 MP (ultrawide) + 2 MP (macro) + 2 MP (depth). On the front, there is a single camera 16 MP (wide).

The sensors include Fingerprint (side-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. The smartphone is fueled by Li-Po 4200 mAh or 4300 mAh, non-removable (region dependent) + Fast charging 22.5W or 40W (region dependent), 70% in 30 min (advertised).

The device is powered by Mediatek Helio G80 Octa-core and GPU is Mali-G52 MC2. The phone runs on Android 10 + EMUI 10.1. The smartphone comes in different colors like Space Silver, Sakura Pink, and Midnight Black.
